Kendall Auto, Backyard Media, and Every Kid Sports work to reduce waste!
This summer Every Kid Sports joined the Kendall Auto Group and Backyard Media for the 2023 Summer Concert Series with a unique approach in supporting the event. For the first time, a nonprofit organization worked the event in a dual effort to fundraise for youth sports while also providing a recycling program for discarded cans and bottles.
Kendall Auto and Backyard Media presented three amazing concerts this summer
- July 29, 2023 – Heartless Bastards
- September 3, 2023 – Chris Jansen
- October 5, 2023 – Collective Soul
Recycling for a Cause
The Every Kid Sports team attended all three concerts in the series. Backyard Media group provided recycling receptacles throughout the venue, including the bar/drink staff to discard appropriately. At each concert Every Kid Sports monitored the receptacles and assisted with final collection of bottles and cans proceeding each concert.
Every Kid Sports recycled approximately 2,000 cans and bottles for donation and an additional heap for traditional recycling services.
