Empowering Confidence: Liongi’s journey
Meet Liongi Aiolupo, a 14-year-old from South San Francisco, California, who’s sports journey is shaping not only her physical health but also her character and aspirations. Liongi is one of six children in her family, and her mom, Sulieti, expresses her gratitude for the support provided by Every Kid Sports, “Thank you so much for always helping my family. Without your help, I don’t know what I would do since all 6 of my kids love and enjoy the different sports they participate in.”
For Liongi, sports have been a transformative experience, leading to increased confidence and valuable leadership skills. Sulieti observes how Liongi has blossomed through her involvement in sports, gaining a strong sense of self-assurance and the ability to inspire and guide her teammates. This newfound confidence and leadership have not only enhanced Liongi’s performance on the field but have also positively impacted her interactions off the field.
