Our history.

Since 2009, we’ve been on a mission to get every kid in sports. Our processes have adapted to meet the demands of societal change, providing the premiere youth sports participation solution in the nation.

 

June 2023

We declare June “Youth Sports Equity Month.”
YSEM brings awareness and action to the inequities of, and their impact on, youth sports participation.

January 2023

We launch the Year 4 of the T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant.
We helped 11,286 kids and we opened our Every Kid Sports Spring Pass helping 7,989 kids.

October 2022

We launch the first Winter Pass.
We helped  over 8,700 kids play sports.

May 2022

We launch the first Every Kid Sports Fall Pass.
We helped over 9,000 kids play fall sports.

November 2021

We launch the Year 3 of the T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant 

June 2021

We launch the Every Kid Sports Pass Nationwide 
Through a generous grant from our founding sponsor, DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation, we are able to cover registration fees for income-restricted families across the country.

We issue our first Debit Card to a family
With our partnership with Chek Financial, we are able to elevate the delivery of funds to our families by issuing debit cards to our Pass families, allowing them to register their kids for sports without having to ask for support.

May 2021

NFL FLAG selects Every Kid Sports as its scholarship partner
Through support from the NFL, Every Kid Sports kicks off a pilot program with NFL FLAG Football helping income-restricted families register for NFL FLAG in Alabama and Michigan.

April 2021

Under Armour selects Every Kid Sports as their customer facing non-profit partner 
Under Armour partners with Every Kid Sports to help 10,000 kids play sports. They will be incorporating Every Kid Sports into all of the retail locations across the US asking their customers at checkout to donate either $1, $3 or $5 in support of Every Kid Sports.

December 2020

We launch the Year 2 of the T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant 
Through additional support from T-Mobile, we helped over 12,300 kids throughout the USA get registered for baseball, softball or challenger division of Little League®.

May 2020

We transition our organization from KIDS in the GAME to Every Kid Sports

February 2020

We launch the T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant 
Through generous support from T-Mobile, we helped over 5,500 kids throughout the USA get registered for baseball, softball or challenger division of Little League®.

October 2019

We partner with the Julia Love Pritt Foundation.
We provided the Pass throughout Pacific Northwest

Nike Connects with us to Create Federal Employee Pass

October 2018

We launch our school-based running program AMPED helping schools across the country increase physical activity.

January 2018

We create AMPED, a school-based running program.
We developed a school-based running program designed to help schools increase physical activity before, during and after school.

December 2017

We launch the Holiday Go! Grant.
The Holiday Go! Grant provided the gift of activity to elementary and middle schools. Through a <5-minute application process, schools were provided curriculum and gear to help their students increase their activity.

May 2016

We expand The Pass Program into Portland, OR
In partnership with Nike, Nautilus, Reeser Fine Foods, and PacificSource, the KIDS in the GAME Pass program was made accessible to qualifying families.

March 2016

Launch Year two of the Go! Grant.
The success of the GO! Grant continued into year two, with an additional 445 schools applying for grants.

April 2015

Launch of the Go! Grant.
In partnership with the Sports Fitness Industry Association and over 20 sports brands, we launch the GO! Grant, helping schools to bring back physical activity before, during, and after school.

January 2014

ACTIVE Network launches the ACTIVEx Pass.

With long term partner, ACTIVE Network, we launch the ACTIVEx Pass helping kids in Dallas, TX and San Diego, CA play sports.

January 2013

Honoring Jack Pinto.
KIDS in the GAME had the privilege of honoring Jack Pinto, a remarkable young man who lost his life in the Sandy Hook school shooting. Jack’s parents made a donation to KIDS in the GAME in his honor, as playing sports was his favorite thing.

March 2012

ACTIVE Network chooses us as charity of choice.
ACTIVEx, the employee engagement program of ACTIVE Network, selected KIDS in the GAME as the sole beneficiary of their annual ACTIVEx Charity Challenge, which raised over $70,000 to help San Diego, CA kids play sports.

2011

We produce the Inspireum Soccer Awards.
Our awards program was expanded to include the country’s most inspirational soccer players.

2010

Our non-profit status is received

2009

Trusted Sports produces “The Rudy Awards.”
Trusted Sports bursts into the sports scene with “The Rudy Awards,” a high school football award program that recognized the most inspirational high school football players across the country.
