Born in Bend
14 years ago, our founders set out to break down financial barriers that prevent kids from playing sports. What started as a small nonprofit organization in Bend, grew to support kids in the Pacific Northwest and eventually supporting kids all across the country.

“Born in Bend is a way for us to reconnect with the Central Oregon community and celebrate our founders with the growth we’ve experienced since launching here 14 years ago,” said Every Kid Sports Executive Director Eleana Fanaika. “We’re excited to make sure that kids in this community can experience the benefits of playing sports, just like thousands of other children we’ve supported across the country.”
The Objective
This initiative has ambitious goals: to support 2,500 local children across Central Oregon by 2027.

Raising $175,000 to support
800 kids.
2027
Raising $250,000 to support
1,200 kids.
These numbers represent a significant increase — 350% more kids supported than before.

Will my donation go to supporting kids in my community?
Yes! Donations made to the Born in Bend initiative will go directly to supporting kids in communities throughout Central Oregon
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
If you make an online gift using Every Kid Sport’s website, we will automatically send a receipt to the email you used to make your donation. If you don’t see a receipt in your inbox or SPAM folder, please contact [email protected] .
